Best known for playing tough but compassionate attorney “Teri Joseph” in the Showtime series “Soul Food,” which was based on the 1997 film of the same name, Parker brings that same magic to the role of Tanya.

Keith David, the Emmy Award-winning film, television and voice actor, plays the role of the Brown family patriarch, Pastor Joe Brown. Best known for his role as Childs in John Carpenter’s “The Thing,” King in Oliver Stone’s “Platoon,” and voicing “Goliath” on the Disney series “Gargoyles,” David is slated to appear in starring and co-starring roles in more than 10 films in 2009 alone.

Michael B Jordan gives a star-making turn as Jesse’s son “Tariq Brown.” The Image-Award nominated actor is known for his work on ABC’s “All My Children.” He received critical acclaim for his portrayal of the hard-shelled, softhearted young urbanite “Wallace” in HBO’s dramatic hit series “The Wire.” Currently, Jordan co-stars in George Lucas’ next film “Red Tails” about the Tuskegee Airmen.

Tasha Smith plays the role of the feisty “Angelique Todd.” This multi-talented actress has been seen in Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married?” as well as "Daddy’s Little Girls.” Smith most recently starred in the Lionsgate underdog sports drama “The Longshots” alongside Ice Cube, and this Fall she co-stars in Universal Studios’ Vince Vaughn-starrer “Couples Retreat.”

Dollar is known to the world as the founder and senior pastor of World Changers Church International, located in College Park, GA, which serves nearly 30,000 members, and World Changers Church-New York, which hosts over 6,000 worshippers each week.
